Mogens Jacobsen is an artist who has been working with digital art and audio since 1983. In the 1990ties he was primarily operating within net.art. And in 1995 he was a founding member of the Danish art group "The Artnode Foundation". In the beginning of the current millennium, he grew tired of the GUI (graphical user interface) as an artistic medium. From that time he has mainly been working with networked physical installations.

Technical requirement to the (physical) exhibition-space

As we spoke (shortly) about at the meeting Dec. 10th, there are some requirements to the internet access from within the museum.
For safety reasons a lot of institutions have closed most of the TCP-ports (except port 80 for access the web  and port 25 and 110 for emails). By according to the SL FAQ some other ports have to be openede:

Quote from the FAQ:
Second Life needs to connect to ports 443/TCP, 12043/TCP, 12035/UDP, 12036/UDP, and 13000-13050/UDP.
You should configure your firewall to allow outbound traffic on those ports.
