Take Part at the Second Life Art Festival @ newBERLIN!

Just as in the real Berlin, people with different individual perceptions of reality meet up in newBERLIN and exchange their ideas.

This leads to different images of space, RL, SL and rSL (real Second Life). The production of art is heavily influenced by the the images in their minds, in fact these images get materialized through art.
These artficial images are the essence of a cultural life, a mirror of a webbed world, a Real Life and Second Life network. The social networks can spread out, RL and SL artists and art melt together.

In my opinion, Second Life is the most important future media for communication and work.
It is a living organism, occupied by a worldwide community that is using the platform for all aspects of life.
A perfect media for art.
The Festival will take place in the virtual city newBERLIN.
In the buildings of the city there will be works of art by people from my personal Second Life (SL) and Real Life (RL) network and myself.

My art deals with understanding and using systems of art, life and the internet.
I think, contemporary art developed into a concept of “what do you want to express”

The streets of newBERLIN will be open to everyone to express his or her idea of art or its concept.
The whole festival is based on a hyper social network that is internationally connected by the internet.
Everything happening in Second Life is the result of modern communication through and with the new internet(web 2.0),

with Second Life being on of the most usefull and efficient interfaces for this online community to interact and express themselves.

The project will take place at the CUBIX in newBERLIN, a RL/SL location.
